The beaded necklace collection is comprised of a variety of techniques and styles using seed/rocaille beads. The inspiration for the pieces comes from using a different medium (material) to produce jewellery pieces thats practically and aesthetically pleasing. I find the techniques, that have been about for years, fascinating.

This particular necklace has been made using the netted beading technique which originated in egypt and was later use din the Victorian era.

This necklace has been made using a beaded spiraling technique and fitted with a large, polished shell disc with amazing iridescent colours.

This necklace has been made using the spiralling bead technique with varying sized beads. The beads and size's of the beads have been specifically chosen to create a sea like quality to the piece. The bigger beads create a bobbled like texture such as one that might be found on a sea urchin. The colours also reflect a sea like influence.

This beaded necklace has been made using a tubular beading technique. The colours of the beads have been chosen carefully to create the overall effect.
